This was an unusual tank in that it was designed and built for the underground storage of drainage water and the potential spill of a chlorinated hydrocarbon. A straight FRP UG tank would have been compromised by the exposure to this organic. It is 12'Ø and 25' long. It meets all of the fire and building codes of the State of California. The liner is 90 mils or 2.3 mm of Halar® ECTFE from Solvay. The sheet was extruded and supplied by Laminations/Simona.
Fisher Company was one of the two original founders of the Dual Laminate Fabricators Association in North America.
