Chemical Resistant Coatings
The unique properties of fluoropolymers provide our Halar® ECTFE, ETFE, and Kynar® PVDF coatings with excellent chemical resistance over a wide range of environments and temperatures. These materials are characterized by their inflammability, low extractable content, exceptional surface smoothness, and chemical resistance.
Our corrosion resistant coatings are applied in a spray and bake process that allows us to build the material up to 125 mils in thickness. The result is a smooth coating that is easily applied over complex surface shapes. This surface is free of the welds and defects often seen in sheet-lined applications and has an average surface smoothness (Ra) less than 5 µ inch.
The Fisher Company powder coating process minimizes both the fabrication time and material handling. Our application methods allow us to coat from very small parts with a size of 1/8 inch diameter to very large parts that are 12 feet in diameter and 40 feet long. The end result is the cleanest possible vessel delivered on time and on budget.
