Technicians
Fisher's twenty-one installation technicians are second to none, extensively trained and tested to meet high benchmarks. We require a 90% or greater weld factor for continued employment. An independent lab regularly tests their capacity to meet the RTF 1 standard for fine vessels, and to perform under complex welding conditions. Fisher's technicians are highly successful in achieving certification.
A participant on the Utah Safety Council, Fisher is focused on worker safety. The technicians undergo frequent safety training, both routine and emergency. Because of the conditions of the job, technicians are trained and tested on working in confined spaces in hazardous conditions, respiratory fitness, and lung capacity. Managers closely observe their teams and institute refresher training when they determine necessary. Because of our attention to safety, we have an ongoing record of three years with no recordable incidents to OSHA.
